Explore our range of Direct Dyes, Reactive Dyes, Acid Dyes and Pigments — backed by Colour Index data, CAS numbers and application expertise.
Direct Dyes are water-soluble anionic dyes that bond straight onto cellulosic fibres such as cotton, viscose and paper without a mordant, making them fast, economical and easy to apply. Our range spans vivid greens, yellows, reds, blues and blacks, engineered for strong tinctorial strength, consistent shade reproduction and dependable fastness. They serve textile dyeing and printing, paper manufacturing, leather finishing and select industrial colouring applications.
Reactive Dyes form a true covalent bond with cellulosic fibres, giving cotton, viscose and blended fabrics outstanding wash and light fastness along with bright, saturated colour. Our range is built for high exhaustion and fixation efficiency, reducing unfixed dye in effluent and supporting consistent, reproducible shades across dyeing and printing processes. These dyes are widely used in apparel, denim, home textiles and continuous dyeing operations.
Acid Dyes are used chiefly on protein and polyamide fibres — wool, silk and nylon — where they bond under acidic dyebath conditions to deliver bright, saturated shades with strong wet fastness. Our portfolio covers blacks, reds, oranges, blues and yellows suited to textile dyeing, leather, inks and select industrial colouring needs. Certain grades are restricted to non-apparel, industrial or leather use only; usage scope is indicated against each product.
Pigments are insoluble colourants dispersed — rather than dissolved — into a substrate, offering excellent light and weather fastness for coatings, inks, plastics and masterbatch applications. Shree Ambica Dye Chem is expanding its pigment range to complement its dye portfolio.
Safety and regulatory status vary by application and destination market. Please request the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Certificate of Analysis (CoA) before specifying any product for skin-contact textile, food-contact, or export use.
